Students can immediately start working as Architect and take your own projects or in Architect's Office. They can further do Masters in Architecture (MArch) 2 years full time course in any subject of your interest such as Theory of Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape, Architectural Building Settlement and Heritage Conservation, Project Management, Archaeology etc. After perusing Masters, students can apply for PhD in Architecture Stream.

Pillai College of Architecture admission is both merit and entrance-based. The basic eligibility criteria is passing Class 12 (passed or appearing) PCM Subjects and 10+3 (Diploma passes)or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Pillai College of Architecture offers 165 seats for its programmes. B.Arch programme offers the most amount of seats in the university with 80 seats for the programme. BSc in Interior Design offers 60 seats, while 20 seats are offered by the M.Arch programme. For the PhD programme there is a provision of maximum five seats. Therefore, candidates applying for admission in the UG programmes will have a better chance of securing a seat in the institute as the UG programmes offer close to 140 seats in the institute.

No, there is no direct admission to BArch at Pillai College of Architecture. The candidates have to qualify in entrance exams such as NATA. Admission is both based on academic merit and entrance exam performance. It is necessary to fulfill the eligibility requirements prior to applying.
