B.Sc provides a degree whereas AME course does not. AME course will be considered as an experience which is required to appear for DGCA paper 1 and 2. Both these courses in my opinion are equally useless and can spoil you future unless you are lucky.

It may be possible when you get enrolled in Government sponsored flying club. There is no such provision in private institutes and same in abroad.

Eligibility criteria:
This is a technical course. Students who have passed 10+2 Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible to pursue this course. Diploma holders (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) are also eligible to pursue it. Note: Minimum marks criteria may vary from one institute to another. 1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
