Yes, it is a good choice as this college as tie-ups with some foreign universities that offer student exchange programme in summer that provide many opportunities to the top performers in the academics.

If you pursue it from CIPET-Chennai or Ahmedabad then it is a very good course for both girls and boys. The major recruiters are Minda Groups, Maruti Suzuki, KTM, etc. The package differs each year from college to college. But the average package remains at around 3 to 5 LPA.

You need to take a state level entrance exam to get into CIPET, Chennai. It is a reputed college, so good marks are required.

CIPET is good for plastics engineering but placement is very good. Only CIPET, Ahmedabad and Chennai have a good placement record.
