These days government jobs are becoming less and less. But don't worry. Jobs in private sector are in abundance. Actually, with your qualifications, you should get a good job. But instead of doing B.Sc, you should go for B.Tech that will take same time if you get lateral admission.

* Yes, after completing diploma in plastic engineering, you may pursue lateral B.Tech and get direct entry into the second year. B.Tech will open more career opportunities for you.
* Procedure :
- To take admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
- Eligibility for admission to lateral entry course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course.
You may directly contact the university officials as lateral entry criteria and admission procedure differs from one college to another.
