Undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply to the Politecnico di Milano with scanned documents at the admission process time. All documents submitted during the application process need to be in English or accompanied by certified translated copies.

For bachelor’s courses, the required documents are:

• Proof official school records, degrees, and other certifications specifying a clear relation between credits awarded and hours of study
• Students with a native language other than English have to give proof of English proficiency compulsorily; TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge test scores are accepted for English proficiency proofs

There are eight halls of residence for the students, spread across Milan, Lecco and Como. All of these have different characteristics and types of rooms.
