Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET, if you fulfill the eligibility criteria of the exam. You should have completed post-graduation with minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD) from the UGC Approved University. If you want to apply for the JRF NET exam than your age must not exceed 30 years (for General) or 35 years (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women). For Assistant Professor there is no age criteria, you can apply whenever you want. If you fulfill all that requirements then you are eligible for the NET exam.

There is BA Hons Political Science, in which you will be studying about public administration as a core subject. However, no separate course in offered specifically in public administration at that level here.

10+2 with English as a compulsory subject
Or,
Diploma in Pharmacy course (for BA only) with English as one of the main subject,Or,
Three-year Diploma program conducted by State Board of Technical Education, Haryana without passing English or Hindi at 10+2 level
Or,
Two-year Diploma course under DTE, Haryana equivalent to 10+2 awarded by HSEB, Bhiwani with English as one of the subject.
Or,
Any other examination with English as one of the main subject conducted by the Academic Council of MDU.

Students with a graduate degree in other streams can also apply
Minimum marks required vary form 45% to 50% in graduation and may vary for different universities
The minimum pass percentage is higher for non-humanities courses
Admission to M.A. Political Science is usually conducted by Entrance exam & Direct Admission.
