Career opportunities as Political Science graduate are limited. However, if it's a subject of your interest, you can go for post-graduation and PhD in subject and become a Political Scientist.
As Political Scientist you have following opportunities:

• Consulting work with Central and State governmental officials.
• Identifying, researching, analyzing and advocating public issues.
• Preparing reports and documents.
• Writing articles for publications in the newspapers, magazines and journals.
• Advisers to the political groups, NGO etc.

Liberal subjects should be selected, considering whether they would bring a good career. All subjects would be useful only after Research and Ph.D. So, consider all trends and you will find that English and Economics would satisfy you.

There is no college or university in India which offers dual degree in political science, you can opt for BA then MA.
