Criteria 1: Age Limit: The candidates must not be more than 20 years of age while applying.
Criteria 2: Educational Qualification: Applicants who have passed or will be appearing for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations from any recognised board of education ineligible.

The eligibility to pursue design:
One needs to pass 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks. The process of admission to design is through an entrance examination. This is known as Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) which is conducted by IIT Mumbai every year. Reputed institutes conduct their own entrance exams. Top colleges are:

In order to pursue Masters in product design, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline under the 10+2+4 (or more) system from any recognised university or recognised institute in India. You need to appear for The Design Aptitude Test (that) as an entrance exam, which is categorized into Prelims test and Mains test.
