A general-purpose DBMS is designed to allow the definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of databases. DBMS can be used to manage transnational databases, such as HR systems, banking systems and so on. Database Developers are responsible for planning, managing and maintaining database management systems. If you do any of Computer Science or IT graduation degree, you will able to get skills to be database developer as part of degree syllabus in RDBMS course.

One needs to have a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and mathematics to become a great programmer. You should be familiar with areas in mathematics including linear Algebra set theories, discrete mathematics, number theory, and a little calculus. Don't worry about mathematics; learning C+ Java is not at all difficult. BCA is a good degree to learn all about the languages and software, but keep trying to grasp the fundamental mathematical concepts that will greatly assist you in your degree.
