The average salary of a civil engineer is quite higher than any other engineering professionals. It is a well-respected profession. You are considered important part of community. There are both in-door and out-door work opportunities. There are lots of career path options to choose from. Like you can specialize on roads, bridges, dams, tunnel, water canals, drainage or building constructions.

As you are interested in BBA course there are some top colleges like MMCC, MIT, BVP IMED, Symbiosis, BMCC, etc. But getting seat in these colleges is not that easy. As some colleges like MIT, Symbiosis and BVO take their own exam for selection in their BBA course.

Fee: 79041/- per year.
Placements: There are no any placements for good companies but small-scale companies are there for placemats. A TPO is there for organising each and everything. From last three batches, more than hundred students got placed from IT and computer branches. There are less placements for the mechanical branch. The electronics and telecommunications branch also has average placements.

BVP has its own entrance exam so it does not need any other entrance as such. Also, marks in MHCET won't be of any use for admissions in BVP-Pune.

Sinhgad College-Pune Maharashtra is doing well, they have a nice infrastructure, faculty and student ratio is good and internship placement and job placement cell is very active. You have to appear for MHCET LAW exam (5 years integrated program) and have to score around 90/150 (for outside Maharashtra candidate) to get admission in Sinhgad College.

You can get colleges like DY Patil and Sinhgad, Pune.

Hello Chinmay, Perhaps both these got deemed university status in same year but MIT has presence in engineering education for more than 25 years. I would therefore advise you to seek admission in MIT first.
