Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is one of the best private colleges of Maharashtra as well as the best college of Pune.
It is a college which is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.
It is a rising college which is known for its faculty members. Some of the faculty members have completed Ph.D.
It is also known for its great infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi and labs with better equipment and machines.
It offers many courses out of which civil engineering is a course which has about 60 seats for students.
It is also known for its increasing fame in placement department but due to lack of core companies related to civil engineering in India, there are very less amount of core companies that come for the placement in Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering.
There are many companies that come for the placement in Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and they are as follows:
Accenture, Airtel, Cadbury, Godrej, IBM, India Bulls, Indian Army, Infosys, L&T, Mastek, Mphasis, Nerolac, Patni Computers, Siemens, SKF, Tech Mahindra and Zydus Cadila.
Most of the students of civil engineering are placed in the national core companies like Accenture and Infosys with an average package of about 3-4 LPA.

COEP and MIT are both good colleges and among the top most in Maharashtra. But among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while MIT is on the 94th rank.
Generally speaking COEP blows MIT out of the water. COEP is much well-known and trusted among recruiters as compared to MIT. Last time COEP had around 85% placements for CSE (this number seems less as the students who didn't accept the offers are also included) and the average salary was around 7-8 LPA for CSE department which is more compared to MIT.
COEP in also better in academics and extra-curricular as compared to MIT. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with MIT.
So go for COEP over MIT.

Even though PICT was founded specially for degree courses related to computer science it still lags behind COEP. COEP has better facilities and is more trusted among the recruiters than PICT. COEP also has better placements and packages as compared to PICT. Last time average package was around 7-8 LPA for CSE department in COEP. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with PICT.
So go for COEP over PICT.
