Initially, you need to upload all essential documents like birth certificate, caste certificate( if applying through minority quota), mark sheets of 10th,12th and entrance exams.
But the final document verification needs to be done physically.
So atleast for a day you need to come down to city

Admission in MIT, Pune is done via JEE Mains and MHCET. JEE Mains cut-off tend to be around 140-150 and in MHCET, it is around 120 -130. So as per your rank, your chances for admission via JEE is negligible, but MIT, Pune have management quota seats also so you may look forward for that too.

And, college change or university change after the first year is completely dependent on college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in the first year to apply for the same. For further details contact the college authorities.
