CT Institute of Higher Studies is a reputed college in Jalandhar, famous for its course and placements. Yet, other colleges such as NIT Jalandhar and DAVIET are also excellent in their respective fields. As of February 2025 applicants must take the PU-CET (PG) entrance test in order to be admitted to Punjab University's (PU), Chandigarh M.Sc. Physics program. Although the precise cutoff scores for the M.Sc Physics programme are not made public basic rules state that applicants must receive at least 15% of the possible points on the admission exam in order to be eligible for SC/ST/PwD categories, this is at least 10%.
It is crucial to remember that achieving these minimal requirements does not ensure admission because the actual cutoffs can change every year depending on things like:
