PAU Ludhiana admission is done on the basis of clearance of the preset admission criteria. As admissions to most of the courses are entrance-based, students have to clear the accepted exam. Students are shortlisted based on multiple factors, such as entrance exam scores, past academic performance, and more. For UG, PG, and PhD admissions, students are selected based on entrance exam scores. The university accepts BSET, AAT, ICAR AIEEA, and other national-level entrance exams. Seat allotment is done through university's counselling process. For final confirmation, admission fees need to be paid.
