• Association The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) are affiliated with the undergraduate Diploma at the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management in Chandigarh, while theCIHMCT Chandigarh is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)
• Duration: While the UG Diploma at the CIHMCT Chandigarh is a three-year courseand and at the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management is a one-year course. You can choose the course duration according to your personal preferences.
• Placement: According to Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management Chandigarh, its undergraduate Diploma programme has a 100% success rate in placing graduates with top hotel chains, mid-scale businesses, and retail establishments. And in  UG Diploma programme at CIHMCT Chandigarh can also find employment in the food industry.
• Fees: Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management in Chandigarh's UG Diploma programme costs Rs. 1,000,000 for a one-year course, while the CIHMCT Chandigarh UG Diploma programme costs Rs. 150,000 for a three-year program.

You must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to Chandigarh's Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management:

• You need to have obtained a passing grade in 10+2 with English as a required subject from a recognised higher secondary board.
• You have to clear the NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMJEE) and achieve a high rank.
• You must participate in the NCHMCT's counseling session and choose IHM Chandigarh as your preferred institution

That is why obtaining a 60% in your 12th-grade class is not sufficient to qualify for admission to IHM Chandigarh. Additionally, you must do well in the entrance exam and in the counseling session.
