Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology would be a better choice I guess. At Thapar, there are two options you get for CSE- at Patiala or Derabssi. You can choose whichever is convenient for you. Plus the placements are far better than VIT. They are accepting applications till 20th of May. If you are interested, you should get it done before that.

Dear Abhishek, There is no specific marks required in JEE Mains to get admission in here because Students will be selected on the basis of their JEE scores. A merit list will be prepared for the selected candidates by the college. PTU follow the online counselling system, in which you are allotted to seats according to your JEE score and Preferences (Filled by you).
