For Fall 2025, Purdue University acceptance rate is around 43.4%. The high school GPA of the recent class 3.7. SAT score of the students is 1220-1480 and the ACT score is 28-34. Purdue Uni is selective at the time of admission. So, for admission to this university's UG courses, students should have passed high school / secondary school education. For admission to PG courses of Purdue, a Bachelor's degree is required. GMAT / GRE score may also be required (vary as per course).

Purdue Uni is famous for its strong reputation in the STEM fields. There are also 400+ research labs at Purdue. It is famous for its Engineering school. Also, it is a Top 10 Public University in the U.S. in the QS rankings for 2026. Also, in the world rankings for 2026 by QS and Times Higher Education, Purdue ranks among the Top 100 Universities. Also, this university's has seen no much increase in the tuition fees for 14th consecutive years.

In the U.S. based rankings Purdue Uni ranks at #46 in 2026. It is also ranked at #19 the top public schools category in the U.S. News rankings. Also, in the QS rankings, Purdue is a top 10 public university in the U.S., ranking at #9 in the QS rankings 2026. Also, note that the Graduate Engineering programs in Engineering, Business, and Health ranking at the Top graduate schools rankings by U.S. News.

Both Purdue and UIUC belong to under 50 top universities and are popular. UIUC is better based on national rankings, high graduation rates, moderate acceptance criteria, and excellent academic structure. For all Purdue University courses, international students are required to prove English proficiency by taking the tests mentioned below with their minimum respective scores:

To apply for MEM at Purdue University, international students are required to pay an application fee of USD 75 (INR 6.7K). Without paying this fee, your application won't move forward. Also, it is non refundable in case Purdue doesn't offer you admission.
