As per the brochure of QUB, the minimum scores required in IELTS as well as other test scores are given below:

  • IELTS: 6.5
  • TOEFL iBT: 90

For admission to PG courses, the university normally accepts 70% in English language in Class 12 in the place of IELTS test. On the other hand, for admission to most of the UG programs, the university normally also accepts 70% in the English language in Class 12 in place of IELTS.

To get into the Queen’s University of Belfast, the applicants should submit an equivalent of 2:1 Honors degree or equivalent qualification. Work experience is required to get into this course and a minimum of 3 years’ of professional experience is required. For international students, the tuition fee is £28,000 for an academic year.

The UG applicants at Queen’s University of Belfast can submit the application via UCAS. Whereas, the PG applicants can use the direct online application system. A few of the documents that are required to apply are academic transcripts, English language proficiency score, any other application material, standardized test scores, etc.

QUB entry requirements for Indian students are given below:

UG: Class 12 exams from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards are accepted. The applicants should have an average of 70% - 85% or higher in the best 5 subjects with 75% or higher wherever subject requirements are mentioned (Exception to Medicine or Dentistry courses, a minimum 90% is required)

PG: Indian applicants are required to have an UG degree (2:1 or 2:2, depending on the course)
