Yes, Queens University Belfast is a member of the elite Russell Group (the UK's Ivy League). It is one of the the oldest university in Ireland and the UK. Also, QUB ranks among the Top 200 Universities in the world in 2026 QS world rankings. It offers a multi-cultural environment. There are 3,900+ international students from oevr 90 countries. Additionally, students can make the most of their university life at QUB as there are 200+ student societies and clubs and sports facilities.

The students have to apply for accommodation for QUB online. Apply as early as possible as some room types and locations may be more popular than the other and can be occupied. To make the application, create an account first and follow the instructions. Students do not have pay the deposit payment directly but once students are accepted into the course and they receive an offer of accommodation via email, then pay a GBP 300 deposit  (Around INR 35k).

There are 200+ student clubs and societies at QUB. These are all stduent-led. A few of these are given below: 

  • Sports: Rugby, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Dodgeball, etc.
  • Music, Arts & Performance: Taylor Swift Society, Live Music Society, Arts Society, Writers' Society, etc. 
  • Faith and International: Indian Society, Latin American Society, Christian Union, etc. 
  • Academic and Educational: Law Society, Psychology Society, Engineering Society, History Society, etc.

Yes, Queens University Belfast offers many scholarships to international students. The university offers scholarship reduction of up to GBP 7,500 on the tuition fees. For India students, India Academic Excellence Award 2026 is available and the value of this scholarship is up to GBP 7,500 towards the tuition fees. This for UG students only. Some of the scholarships available for international students at QUB are International UG Scholarship, International PG Scholarship, Queen's Business School Scholarship, etc.

  • UG: GBP 22,400 - GBP 47,000
  • PG Taught: GBP 23,000 - GBP 27,600

The duration of Queen's University Belfast MSc Data Analytics course is one-year. Special highlights of this course include the Analytics in Action module and commitment of industry to offer real data for projects.
