The placements of Mechanical department at RVCE is decent. The branch-wise placement stats for 2026 are not availabe. In 2025, 80 Mechanical students of BE program were placed with an average salary of INR 9.22 LPA and highest of INR 18.33 LPA.

Total tuition fee of M.Tech programme at RV College of Engineering is INR 1.30 lakh. Fe does not include hostel fee or mess fee and only consists of total fee of tuition. Fee mentioned here is taken from official sources.

The fees of RV College of Engineering vary by admission quota and branch. For COMEDK, fees can be around INR 2 to 2.5 lakhs per year, for Management Quota fees can range from INR 16 lakhs to more than INR 70 for B.E program. Students must expect other additional costs like hostels and other fees.
RV College of Engineering offers three courses namely BTech, M.Tech and MCA. The fee structure is tabulated below:

Qualification for M.Tech in RV College of Engineering is pass in BE/BTech or equivalent degree with minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 45% for SC/ST candidates. Duration of M.Tech programme is 2 years. Selection for M.Tech admission can be based on PGCET also known as Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, GATE commonly known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or college level entrance exam.

For full time MCA program, RV College of Engineering offers a total of 120 seats. The students get admission to this program through entrance test Karnataka PGCET. Also, there is management quota seats available.
