Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is a private engineering college affiliated to the University of Mumbai. This year, RGIPT climbed 103 ranks to rank '79' in the NIRF.
The labs are good and lab assistants are helpful. The department is overall strict (You cannot use cellphone on the floor, you've to wear college ID card and cannot sit in the balcony, etc.) The college is pretty decent and staff is good. The placements have improved over the years.
