The best course offered at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai is the BTech course. Many top organisations like Wipro, TSC, HCL, Bolt, Berger, Cognizant, Microsoft, Amazon, and Andsoforth, visit the college for placement. The highest package offered till now is 52 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. All faculty members are well educated and many of them are from IITs. They teach in a modern way, like projector-based classes, which are run over all the classes.

On the whole, food quality in the hostel mess of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai is satisfactory to students. Mess provides vegetarian and sometimes non-vegetarian varieties to ensure proper nutrition. Hygienically prepared food caters for the diet of students. Through regular feedback from students, quality and variety of dishes get improved. It accommodates the taste and diet of many students to a considerable extent, but the food served could still be home-like and balanced in general. More importantly, the mess comes along with a clean and cozy place for dining. It may depend on individual preferences, though.
