The MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is an excellent choice for Engineering or Architecture interested students with the institute having been recognised by NIRF 2025 as one of the top institutes in the country for the two fields.
It was ranked 31st and 75th by NIRF 2025 under the 'Architecture & Planning' and 'Engineering' categories, respectively.

For B.Tech CSE, Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) and BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) are colleges in Bangalore with strong academic reputation and good local industry connections.

One can say that getting into Ramaiah Institute of Technology is tough or easy depending on their own level of preparation, competition, available seats, personal motivation, and a number of other factors that will not be discussed here. Yes, Ramaiah Institute of Technology features separate hostel facilities for both male and female students. These hostel rooms consist of both single-occupancy as well as shared rooms which are all found on the campus. Students are given all the necessary facilities to live comfortably while away from. These facilities are offered on a first-come first-serve basis.
