RBI will release both state-wise and category-wise RBI Assistant cut off along with the mark sheet & scorecard. RBI Assistant cutoff is applied on individual sections and total aggregate marks. To qualify the each stage of the exam, candidates need to secure the section-wise and overall cutoff marks. The cut off of RBI Assistant is the minimum qualifying mark that candidates need to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of the selection process. The cut off marks are decided based on the various factors. Candidates need to secure the cut off marks separately in each stage of selection process.

Candidates who qualify the prelims stage of RBI Assistant are called for mains. The marks obtained at this stage are not counted for the final merit list. This is prepared based on the mains exam subject to qualifying the Language Proficiency Test.

The interview score is sorted, considering only those who score above 40% (35% for SC/ST and PWD) in the interview.
80% weightage is given to the common written normalized score and then the remaining 20% is allotted to the interview.
While the IBPS clerk exams' final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination.
Only those who receive a score of at least 40% (or 35% for SC/ST and PWD) in the interview are taken into account for sorting the results.
