In REAP counselling, first, a tentative merit list is published.  The tentative merit list can be reviewed by the candidates, and they can challenge the same. If any changes are needed in the merit list, they will be made, and a final merit list will be released. Seat allocation is done based on the ranks in the final merit list of REAP.

There are around 8 rounds in the REAP counselling process.

  1. Rounds 1 to 3 are specifically for Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme (TFWS) candidates.
  2. Rounds 4 and 5 accommodate out of Rajasthan state candidates, Kashmiri Migrants (KM), persons with special abilities, and Ex-Servicemen dependent on Rajasthan domicile.
  3. Rounds 6 and 7 cater to Rajasthan state candidates.
  4. Round 8 is conducted to fill any remaining vacant seats at the institute level.
