Sapthagiri College of Engineering

Sapthagiri College of Engineering offered BTech and M.Tech in full-time mode for the durations varying from 2 years to 4 years. The College offers these courses in various specialisations such as Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and VLSI Design and Embedded System. 

The College offers these courses on the basis of minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 for admission to UG level courses. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. In addition to this, candidates must secure a valid score in accepted entrance exams such as GATE, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, Karnataka PGCET, KCET or other equivalent exams. The fee structure of the respective courses includes a tuition fees ranging from INR 1.3 Lacs to INR 3.9 Lakh.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses provided practical training and with a readiness towards industry are provided from 2001 onwards. Good placement records were found to be achieved in the colleges like Computer Science, Information Science, and Electronics, where average package 5 LPA and the highest to reach the level of 28 LPA was available. Infrastructure is improving, though students mention a few limitations concerning extracurricular activities. Generally, it offers a positive learning environment with qualified faculty members and can be considered suitable for future engineers.
