The eligibility criteria for Sarala Birla University BA (Hons) courses is listed below:
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board in India.
- A relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks is given to candidates belonging to ST/SC category.
- To be eligible for admission to BA (Hons) in Economics, candidates must have studied Mathematics/Computers/Statistics/Accountancy/Banking/ Business Studies/Economics as one of the subjects in Class 12.
- Students awaiting the declaration of their Class 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit the relevant supportive documents at the time of admission.

Yes, one can join Sarala Birla University for BSc (Hons) in Mathematics without JEE. The university does accept the scores of various national and state-level Engineering entrance exams for admitting students to its BSc (Hons) in Mathematics. However, having a JEE score is not mandatory. One can apply with a valid score in any other National/State-level engineering entrance exam. Alternatively, candidates can also appear for the entrance test conducted by the university.

Sarala Birla University offers a full-time BSc (Hons) in Mathematics. The programme is structured in accordance with the UGC guidelines. The course is divided into six semesters. The curriculum is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). In each semester, students have to study various core and elective subjects. Each subject carries certain credits.
