Yes, Sarala Birla University does offer scholarships to the students. Some of the offered scholarships include, General Scholarship, Merit-based scholarships, Internal Scholarships, and e-kalyan scholarship provided through Government of Jharkhand. 

Sarala Birla University fees are inclusive of various components, such as tuition fees, registration fees, application fees, caution money, development fees, and more. Three out of the seven components are payable only one time and the rest of the components are paid in each semester. Students are required to upload certain documents at the time of admission. Applicants need to attest photocopies and show the original documents. Students can check out the following list to know about the documents required at the time of SBU application:

The eligibility criteria for BTech course is to pass Class 12. Aspirants must Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology/Informatics Practice/Information Technology with at least 50% aggregate. (05% relaxation in marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category).

Yes, candidates can change the programme with certain terms and conditions at Sarala Birla University. Aspirants can only change the programme once before a specific date (to be announced by the University) subject to the availability of seats in that respective Programme. However, B.Tech and Polytechnic Diploma students can switch their specialization/ branch before the commencement of the third semester subject to approval by a competent authority.

The eligibility criteria for MBA course is graduation at Sarala Birla University. Aspirants must pass graduation is any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks ( 45% for reserved category). Bachelor degree in any discipline with atleast 50% aggregate from recognised University/ Institution. Graduates of recognised professional programmes like CA/ ICWA etc. are also eligible to apply. (05% relaxation in marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category).

In order to apply for BSc course at Sarala Birla University candidates must sit and appear for entrance exam score. Aspirants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category). The selection criteria fo the course is merit or SBU entrance test. 

Sarla Birla University's admission for 2024 is open. Till now, no schedule has been released by the university. Since the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. The university offers BTech, BCom, MTech, MBA, etc., courses at the UG and PG level. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers doctorate, Diploma and certificate courses.

The Sarala Birla University BSc admission criteria is entrance-based. The University accepts any national/ state-level engineering entrance exam or entrance exam conducted by Sarala Birla University. 

The SBU entrance exam for BSc admission consists of five sections and they are mentioned below:

a) Aptitude for Nursing- 10 marks.

b) General Science -50 marks

c) General knowledge- 20 marks

d) English- 10 marks

e) General ability -10 marks
