Students who get admission in technical / professional courses without taking any competitive examination will also be eligible for scholarship. However, such students should have not less than 50% marks at higher secondary.

PUMBA offers scholarships to reserved category students including SC/ST/OBC candidates. Scholarships at PUMBA are also offered based on the domicile. Furthermore, PUMBA also provides loan facilities to eligible and deserving candidates as well. Also, all the scholarships at the national level are provided as per the UGC norms. Scholarships such as EBC, EWS, Caste Scholarships and Scholarships for accommodations are available.

Hello Banumathi, in Tamil Nadu as you know the admissions to the engineering colleges are given based on marks obtained in 12th standard. For this government of Tamilnadu has established one organisation called Tamilnadu engineering admission. Here a prospective student has to register to be eligible to seek admission. TNEA has established facilitation centres across Tamilnadu for checking of certificates. This step is a mandatory step which is required to be done by the student so that he can proceed for the next stage of admission process. It seems like national Scholarship Exam (NSE) have not yet declared any official exact date for the examination of scholarship, so it is advisable to keep taking updates of scholarship by visiting the official website of NSE.
