The NIELIT launched a Scholarship Scheme, namely NIELIT Protsahan Puraskar Scheme, for female students and SC/ST/Physically Handicapped students studying NIELIT (DOEACC) O/A/B/C level courses w.e.f. January 2003 examinations. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
The Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and female students studying O/A/B/C level courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) will be valid on a full-time basis through an authorised institute to conduct the DOEACC-accredited courses.
Applicants must clear the papers on the first attempt and complete the courses in the specified number of attempts.

University of Birmingham Dubai provides some scholarships specifically to Indian students. In 2023, four scholarships of £2,500 was offered to Indian students.
