The merit scholarship is given to students who have a good score in their Graduation degree. Such students get some scholarship on total fee and they have to pay less fee compared to other. Those who have 90% & above in Graduation, receive a 100% scholarship on fee.

KCET, COMEDK UGET, and JEE Main are the three main exams accepted by private BTech colleges in Mysore, with some colleges also offering direct admission based on Class 12 marks.

Higher scores in JEE Main or KCET, or 90%+ in Class 12 boards, can fetch merit-based fee waivers and scholarships at most private colleges.

The eligibility is different for each scholarship provided. The merit scholarship is given to students who perform exceptionally well in academics or any artistic skill. Also, wards of Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, BSF and CRPF are also provided with a scholarship. Sports scholarship is given to District or National level sports candidates.
