Australian Government Scholarships

The Australian Government funds scholarships for next-generation leaders from around the world to undertake study and research in Australia. The Australia Awards Scholarships provide opportunities for citizens of developing countries in Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East and Africa to study full-time in Australia at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Student Opportunity Fund

It provides grants of up to AUD 2,000 to help finance unique and outstanding ‘beyond the classroom’ educational experiences for students currently studying at the university. This includes showcasing excellence in academic, leadership, and other extracurricular activities.

New and returning students at Bangor University can apply for bursaries and scholarships worth more than £1 million. Below are some of the requirements to be eligible for Bangor University scholarships and financial aid:

Undergraduate Eligibility

• Grades equivalent to GCE A-level A grade students
• These scholarships are not available to candidates funded completely by a third party
• The scholarships mentioned above are not available to applicants from the United Kingdom or the European Union but available to all candidates from other countries
• Only full-time on-campus courses are eligible for the above scholarships

When foreign students apply to study at Bangor University through the application portal or UCAS, they will be eligible for these scholarships. In the offer letter, the outcome will be verified. There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.

Postgraduate Eligibility

The Vice-chancellor scholarship is for exceptional foreign candidates who have earned the equivalent of a first-class bachelor's degree in the United Kingdom.

• Candidates funded completely by a third party are not eligible for these scholarships
• Candidates from the United Kingdom and the European Union are not eligible for the above scholarships, but candidates from all other countries are eligible
• Only full-time on-campus courses are eligible for the above scholarships

Note: Students who must study online due to travel limitations imposed by Covid-19 (where the course is usually delivered on-campus) are still eligible for the scholarship.

Grand Valley State University offers International Student Scholarship to all international undergraduate students on these visa types (E2, F1, H4, K2, L2, R2, TN and TD) and  have been admitted to Grand Valley . These students will eceive a scholarship to cover the extra cost of being a non-Michigan resident. The Grand Valley State University Scholarship awards will range from USD 2,500/INR 2.0 L  to USD 10,000/INR 8.30 L.  This scholarship will automatically renew for up to four years.  Scholarship decisions are made by committee and are based on a review of the information in the scholarship application.
