For scholarship at St. Francis Xavier University, new students studying full time are required to have grades of min. 85% and show that they are good at leadership skills and have made efforts to help their community. National Entrance Scholarship Program is partially funded scholarship for students from other countries who have grades of 85% or better. A few other eligibility criteria are listed below -

1) Entrance Scholarship ($5000) - All first year undergraduate students who are eligible for this scholarhip have scored an average of 85-89.9%

2) Entrance Scholarship ($7000) - First year, full-time undergraduate students are eligible who have an average score of 90-95.9%. Open to all students.

3) Merit ($12000) - All students in the first year of an undergraduate course are eligible with a score of 96% and above.

The total amount of the entrance scholarship given to students is decided on the basis of their final grades in the five subjects of Class 12th courses needed for admission to their program. 

International students can only apply for merit-based scholarships. Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on academic grades and SAT/ACT scores achieved by students. The academic credentials of international students are evaluated through their application forms. Therefore, no separate applications might be needed to bag these scholarships. International graduate students can obtain financial support in any of these ways:

• Personal Savings - This refers to a bank statement signed by a bank authority indicating the current balance.
• University Funds - This refers to the funds obtained from assistantships, fellowships, or scholarships.
• Sponsor Funds - This refers to the funds obtained from parents, friends, relatives, and organizations. It may contain a signed affidavit along with other financial documents such as bank statements.
• Bank Loan - This refers to an approved bank loan.
• Government Sponsorship - This refers to sponsorship in the form of scholarships.

The Mount Holyoke scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, on a first-come, first-served basis. For evaluation, Mount Holyoke prefers a holistic approach based on academic performance, students' interests, and experience relative to the program. They prefer judging academic performance by grades on individual courses, overall GPA, accreditation status of prior colleges/universities attended, standardized test scores, language proficiency, strength of recommendation letters, and additional criteria specified by the academic program. They assess interest and experience relative to the programme through the personal essay, history of prior research and work experience, and in some cases, through personal interviews.

Candidates at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce who want to apply for the financial aid offered by Somaiya Vidyavihar University must have all the necessary documents which they will be required to submit during the application and screening process.
