The Tata Education and Development Trust (Ratan Tata of Tata Sons Ltd.) has given a $25 million end owmentto Cornell University to offer financial aid to underprivileged but meritorious Indian students who wish to study undergraduate courses at Cornell. Number of scholarships: 20
There are several other scholarships available for Indian students who want to study in USA including the ETS TOEFL Scholarship, Lady Meherbai D. As per Apex Academy Policies :- There will be one Michigan-based scholarship and one Nevada-based scholarship awarded. The award is a one-time gift. Award amounts will be $500-$2,000, based on demonstrated need, and may vary from year to year based on funds availability.
Scholarship awards will be paid directly to a college, university, or trade program of your choice
Applicants must complete the online application, which includes the following essay questions:
Describe the difficulties you experienced while growing up. How did you overcome those challenges? What did you learn from those experiences?
What is your purpose in life? How do you aspire to leave a positive mark on society?
Essays will be evaluated based upon:
Individual determination to success,
Future goals and specific plans to achieve them,
Ability to communicate the hardships you have overcome or currently face,
Self-motivation.

Graduating high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. (Copy of official transcripts required).
Attendance at an under-resourced or at risk school in Michigan or Nevada.
Demonstrated need for financial assistance.
Demonstrated leadership within their high school, community, or family.
Demonstrated commitment to community service.
Participation in extracurricular activities (sports, clubs, associations, etc.).
Acceptance into an accredited college, university, or trade program (proof of acceptance required).
