No, IIM Ranchi does not offer scholarships of its own. However, there are various Departments and Ministries of the Government of India that offer many scholarship schemes for the benefit of students. The details of all the national-level scholarships are provided in the National Scholarship Portal of the Government of India on the website. Candidates can visit the portal and apply for the scholarships they are eligible for.

The students belonging to the SC/ ST category need to pay concessional tuition fees. It also facilitates merit-based scholarships provided by the Government of India, The National Council for Hotel Management (New Delhi), The Oberoi Scholarship and Hotel and Food Service (Mumbai).

Yes, international students at Burgundy School of Business are eligible for merit-based scholarships. For merit-based students, BSB evaluates students on factors like GPA and transcripts, university / high school of origin, oral motivation interview results, and quality of the application file, above all the cover letter and resume. As such, there is no separate scholarship application process and all students admitted to BSB shall be considered for the scholarship and if eligible, the amount shall be deducted from their tuition automatically. BSB deducts up to 50% off the student’s first-year tuition fees.
