Madras University offers about 28 scholarships to students. These include the Mother M. Celine Scholarship, Sir Tanjore Madhava Rau Scholarship, Lord Pentland Mussalman Scholarship, Poet H.A. Krishna Pillai Tamil Scholarship, Madras Oriental Conference Scholarship, Dr A. L. Mudaliar Scholarship, Krupabai Santhyanathan Memorial Scholarship, Lions Club of Madras Central Endowment Scholarship, The Goschen Memorial Endowment Scholarship and The Johnston of Carnslloch Endowment Scholarship. Students of UNOM can avail of these scholarship schemes only if they fulfil the eligibility criteria as set up by the university.

Punjabi University does not offer scholarships of its own. Students of Punjabi University can avail of various government-sponsored scholarships. Some of the scholarships are Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship, Loan Scholarships Scheme, State Harijan Welfare Scheme, UGC Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship, and many more. There are different eligibility criteria for the schemes. Candidates must visit the official website and read about the prerequisite requirements. If the candidate has fulfilled the criteria of the chosen scholarships, then they must fill out the application form and submit it.

YCMOU Nashik implements the Scholarship Schemes of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra for the students belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST), Schedule Cast (SC), Special Backward Classess (SBC), and Nomatic Tribe (VJNT), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Poor Class from General Category for their higher education, and various other category students. Candidates must apply for the scholarships as soon as possible as the seats are limited.
