The selection for M.Arch is based on GATE score, hence, a candidate with an exam score is preferred. However, it is not compulsory. Candidates with CEED scores are also eligible to apply. Admission is only through either of these exams. Additionally, the student shall also meet the eligibility requirements. At the time of admission, students shall have the respective exam scorecard with them.
Moreover, applicants are also reviewed base on their portfolio of work, personal interaction with faculty and/or written test, interest and motivation for the chosen study, and work experience.

Admissions to M.Arch courses at SPA Delhi are made based on a valid GATE/CEED score. Moreover in order to be eligible a student must have BArch or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Fine Arts from a recognised university or equivalent. Additionally the students must have a valid GATE/CEED score. See the table below to know more:

Apart from JEE Main, SPA Delhi also offers admission to BArch and BPlan through DASA UG. Going as per last year's data, the Round 1 closing ranks for SPA Delhi cutoff 2022 for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) was 45 for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota seats. Tabulated below are the year-wise ranks for SPA Delhi Cutoff 2023 for BArch and BPlan admissions through DASA UG:

SPA cutoff 2023 for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Bachelor of Planning courses is based on the JEE Main score, followed by the JoSAA and CSAB Counselling. Tabulated below are the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for JEE1 Delhi cutoff 2023 based on JEE Main scores:

The institute has not released the placement details for MArch courses. However, the combined data for PG (2-year) courses is released. During 2023 placements, 85% of PG (2-year) students were placed. In 2022, the placement rate was almost 77%. Over the past three years (2021 to 2023), the placement rate for PG (2-year) courses has improved gradually. Refer to the below table showcasing the SPA Delhi placement rate trends:
