The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is located in the serene suburbs of Nashik city. The campus is conveniently connected to the major nodes of transportation in the city. YCMOU offers a PhD program in environmental science. Admission is based on the PhD entrance test and a interview. Applicant must hold  a master degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks.The PET comprises two online paper :The first assesses general aptitude and research skill, while the second focus on subject specific knowledge. Applicant with valid UGC- NET, UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, GATE or hold an M. Phil. are exempt from the PET.The PET is typically conducted in October.
