Astrophysics is really a specialized branch of physics and the knowledge of certain areas of physics is a must. Done your graduation in engineering in a civil branch which is not actually related to physics or definitely astrophysics. I am afraid you have perhaps not raise your query fully. You are saying that can a normal B.Sc. Graduate apply for this. But you have not mentioned what is the meaning of the word. In view of this I would like to advise you to raise a fresh query giving what graduation you are doing and then asking the query in simple terms as do you want to do this can you do this with your qualification.
