In my view, Biotechnology is a professional course. Biotechnology covers many different disciplines such as biostatistics, genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology etc. Novel technologies and products are researched and developed every year covering many sectors like medicine (vaccine, antibiotics), agriculture (development of genetically modified plants, biofuels, biological treatment) or industrial biotechnology (production of chemicals, paper, textiles and food). With the ongoing pandemic a lot of investment for upgrading and strengthening the biotech industry is being done by almost all the government around the globe. There is lot of demand for good professionals with a sound knowledge of their subject and research. Comparing many other courses it is one of the better and promising course that offers a lot to the professionals who are stepping in this field through some good brand of colleges. Choosing a right place to study is very important as without a good foundation of knowledge and technical skills you can not expect placements in the companies you dream of. In my opinion, PCTE College of Biotechnology situated in Ludhiana is one of the best colleges in Punjab for Biotechnology course. PCTE provides a reasonably good facility for providing a quality education to the students. They provide a lot of facilities for the overall development of the students and with a very strong industrial lesion they give a lot of exposure of real time situation of the industry to the students.
