Since, you belong to Science stream but preferring Civil Services. So, I would recommend you to go for BA Hons History from any reputed university across India, since I am also a History graduate from University of Delhi, but not aspiring for Civil Services. Taking History will be very helpful, though you can take political Science as well. Other than this, It came to my mind, that a possible question can arise to you that being a Science student, Going arts will be inconvenient, I am sure it will be, but the fact is, For IAS, History is must, because if you won't take it in your main subject, the general studies aspect has History and General studies paper is must, So you have no option but to read History.

It is a 2 years long Post Graduate Level programme. The 2 years duration is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months. During each semester, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical sessions associated with those subjects. Apart from theoretical subjects and practical sessions, seminars and Research work/project also plays an important role in M.Sc. Agriculture programme. It is a 2 years long Post Graduate Degree programme. During these 2 years, students are given both theoretical as well as practical knowledge on the field of IT (Information Technology). Like in B.Sc. Important topics covered in M.Sc. IT also revolves around Information Technology, Programming, Database Management, Project Management, OS, Information Security, Software Engineering, E-Governance concepts etc. But I must say that the course material is much more advanced, when compared to B.Sc IT programme.
