Both the institutes are comparable and have advantage of their own. VIT would offer you chances to get placed in good company after education while Walchand would offer you benefit of low fee. Talking about electronics, both institute are at par.

Scholarship is given by the state/central government for meritorious students according to their profile. Some scholarships are given to SC/ST/OBC students for financial help. You need to clear all semester in first division with good marks so you can get scholarship from your college/ university/ government. Your profile is satisfactory for scholarship.

Dear friend, you can get admission without maths also but in this case you have to lose 2.5% of your best four subject and if after this deduction you lie in the cutoff you are eligible.

Yes, it's possible for science stream student to pursue journalism too and minimum marks requirement is 55% from any board.
