Hello, To appear in IIT JAM Exam, you need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised university. Students in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. So, you are eligible. But you should also satisfy all the other eligibility criteria if you want to appear in the exam. I would suggest for school of optometry medical college of Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune if you are resident of Maharashtra and is also quite popular in India for pursuing Bachelor of optometry. That rule is only applicable for the colleges which are Government based like government colleges and government universities in Maharashtra, but this is not applicable to the private colleges which are residing in Maharashtra.
