Yes, you can appear in UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test). The exam is organised for 84 different subjects including Home Science. Through this exam, you can get awarded a Junior Research Fellowship and can also get a post of Assistant Professor. No, there is no such thing as lateral entry for M.Sc course in DU you've to apply for a proper 2 year M.Sc Programme.

You can apply for jobs in as you can also give their exams after B.Sc if you're that good. Also, you can apply for NET only if your one year Masters degree you received from any foreign institute is equivalent to a two year programme under any Indian UGC approved institutes. So, just check is that one year programme actually equivalent or not. If it is, then congratulations, you're eligible.

Most of the institutes do call for an interview after you qualify the JEST exam and you've to apply for them based on your rank/marks. So, just see the pattern by which institutes called for interviews in last few years.

Hi, B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate degree awarded by Indian Universities for 10+2 students preferably with Science stream. Like, BE/B.Tech or MBBS. B.Sc. In Agriculture is considered as a professional degree by Government of India. Admission to the course is mostly entrance exam based. KEAM EAMCET are a few entrance exams conducted for admission to the course.

The government funded IISc (Indian Institute of Sciences) are considered good. Apart from that one, colleges offer selective courses for medical in Neuroscience or Computational Neuroscience. IAN (Indian Academy of NeuroSciences) or Jiwaji are also trending. Although there is no shortage of M.Sc. Courses still, B.Sc. Would be hard to find.
