The minimum educational qualification for this course is a Bachelors degree in Science I. e. B.Sc. Either in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Fishery Science / Earth Science / Physics / Agriculture / Microbiology / Applied Sciences or in any other equivalent disciplines. One can also pursue M.Tech in Oceanography or Marine Biology. The minimum qualification is M.Sc. And sometimes a valid GATE score is essential for admission to this programme. Please mention your specialization in Diploma in mechatronics. In general, it is a peculiar branch and a tough one to pursue.
And its not like mechatronics is just a combination of mechanical and ECE and bit electrical. You will have knowledge about all dis branches so job opportunity is more but its not a core branch. Not very sure of the placements from this branch but all i can say is if you look at at he placements perspective , rather can opt to go for General B.Sc in electronics as it is more easily available and placements chances are also high.
