Hello,
You can prepare for the CSIR NET Exam while doing M.Sc in Chemical Science. The CSIR NET Exam is conducted in the month of June and December for the students those have interest in making career in the lectureship and Research. You must do a Masters in Chemical Science with around 55% marks. There are many universities and colleges in India that provide Masters in Chemical Science. If you qualify the CSIR NET JRF Exam you can get a scholarship worth INR 25000 per month.
Here are few textbooks for preparation:
Inorganic Chemistry by Miessler
Advanced Chemistry by J March
Modern Organic Synthesis
Physical Chemistry by P. W Atkins & J
