Yes, The eligibility criteria for the same is around 50-60% in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics as the essential subjects. The candidate then will have to appear in different entrance exams conducted by various colleges/ universities applied. B.Sc. Life Sciences holds the same scope as B.Sc. Microbiology.
B.Sc. Biomedical Sciences in not such an emerged field from the career point of view. More of its importance goes to Biomedical Engineering. Other options for B.Sc. you can go for are Nursing, Biotechnology, Home Science (dietician, CRM, textile industry, etc), Forensic Science, and traditional subjects (physics, chem, botany, zoology, etc).
