After doing M.Sc in Zoology, you can opt teaching as your profession, if you are interested in doing government job in teaching, you can do B.Ed and start preparing for the various levels of teaching job in schools. You can also prepare for NET and start teaching in colleges. You can also go for NET-JRF and starts your research work. You can also work in research field in CSIR as junior research fellow after your Ph.D. Various projects are also there, which admit research fellows for specific period of time, you can also join them. Different departments also admit the persons having M.Sc in specialized field. You can also prepare for civil services papers if you have the aptitude in these services. You can join any of the research lab as a research scholar.

No, ICAR UG is not tough like NEET and JEE in terms of the level of questions they ask, but it offers lesser time to answer. Thus, the number of questions as compared to NEET & JEE are more but they are at a lower level. To enter into a good college you need to secure a good rank. ICAR UG gives out only top 500 ranks all over India so firstly you should be among those 500, secondly, it offers a manual counseling for its selection. For the best college like NDRI, Karnal you must be under top 150. For colleges like PAU & GB PANT, you might GET the seat at around 200220 also. Rest it all depends upon the people with ranks who appear at the counseling and the colleges they wish to take. Let me share my case my scenario was I wanted to enter NDRI but my rank was 203 & NDRI was UPAT 150 So I had an option all the other colleges including ANAND (Amul), PAU, GB PANT, CCSHAU etc.
