Generally, the mandatory subjects for applying to biotechnology/bio-engineering course are Biology, Chemistry, Physics/ Zoology. Every college is different and hence their admission criteria also varies. Please confirm the university name in which you want to enrol or you can also check the eligibility criteria of the course on their official website.

Hi,
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) is a public University affiliated by UGC and AIU. Bengal College of Engineering formerly known as BCETW is a private engineering institute located in Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. Both the colleges are good however placements are better in Vivekananda Institute of Technology and Science, Karimnagar than Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). It is advisable to get in touch with the current students to know more about the college before applying.

Congratulation for your good score. The eligibility criteria for getting admission into NIT Rourkela or into any of the NITs is For General candidates to qualify for admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. Other than that according to the past records, the JEE rank for Electronics engineering 7000-8000. So there is a good opportunity for you to get admission in the your preferred branch. You can get admission in NIT Rour

Students securing 80% or more marks at 10+2 level are exempted from the selection process and admission of such candidates will be done only on the basis of Amity Admission Test.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of AMITYJEE conducted by the university. Selection of the candidates for admission to various UG and PG courses is done on a direct basis as well as on the basis of a written test. The selection process comprises of an English language test followed by Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal interview (PI) Program based written test/creative/physical test is conducted for selected courses, wherever necessary.

There is no such specific syllabus for the same. However, the entrance exam will consist of Written Test of 50 Marks of one-hour duration and a personal interview for 50 marks. Please refer the link below for detailed information on the various courses and admission criteria of Assam University:

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST), Barrackpore, Kolkata is better than Brainware University. You can still check the placement status from current students and alumni of the course before applying.
