International applicants who are applying to Seattle University may choose whether or not they would like to have their ACT or SAT scores. However, the university also has a unique admission process as it has an optional test admissions policy. The primary reason behind this is to be more inclusive admissions process and to update the tools used to predict student outcomes reliably.

Seattle University no longer requires GMAT or GRE scores for most of its MBA and Masters programs, except for international applicants with three year UG degrees. While submitting these scores is optional for all applicants, including international ones, it is encouraged as it can enhance the application's competitiveness and provide the team with more information. However, if applicants choose to include either GMAT or GRE scores, they should use the respective codes are provided below:

  • Professional MBA (Part-Time)- OTM-56-13

  • Professional MBA (Full Time)- OTM-56-88

  • Early Career MBA – OTM -56-59

The Seattle University acceptance rate is 85% for international students. This means that only 85% of applicants are admitted annually out of the 100 application recieved. It is also important to note that meeting minimum requirement criteria doesn’t guarantee admission during selection. Undergraduate applicants should have the equivalent of a U.S. grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. To be admitted to any programme at Seattle University, it is recommended to have a strong academic profile, including competitive scores in the GMAT or GREs ( Depends on teh course applicant is applying for).  However, the admission process at Seattle university takes a holistic approach, considering multiple factors in the student's profile. These factors include Leadership, Work experience, essays, LOR and interviews that the students give during their admission process.

Applying to Seattle University may differ from applying to other universities in the US on several factors. Seattle University lets all the interested applicants to apply either through Early Action or Regular Decision. Seattle University's Early Action option is a flexible admissions route. If you're accepted, you're free to apply elsewhere and weigh financial aid options. Students are required to submit USD 60 as application fee which is non-refundable.
